Your probably all tired of hearing this ..but I'm starting to get confused

I have a 95 gsx fully rebuilt 020 over 9.1 compression I have a aluminium 3 row champion radiator and its hugeee in the car I have 2 slim fit fans full on by dsmlink, coolant and water mix, has heat shield, new radiator cap and been burped new water pump also during cruise its even at 14.0 afr and within 5mins its already running 240 degrees on gauge and link honestly I can't even drive it for more then 5 mins.. If I am running a 180 thermostat is going to a colder one gona help me that much?

Is could I have a problem somwhere else? Thankss

You dont want to run any other thermostat than the OEM one. Autozone or any aftermarket ones are cheap and probably dont help. When its overheating feel the upper and lower rad hoses. If they are both hot its a headgasket/radiator/fan/waterpump issue. Are your fans wired the right way? As in you could have them set up as pullers but your have them wired to be pushers. 240 is on the hotter side of things.

A colder thermostat won't help. A colder thermostat will stay open at all times. The water won't stay in the radiator long enough to cool, it will just keep flowing through. I would recommend putting the 190* t-stat in and doing some ducting to ensure the radiator is getting good airflow.

Yeah there wired correctly there pulling air threw the radiator and to the engine .. and what would a headgasket do to make it overheat?

Could the fact I'm not using shrouds be why its running hot?

How can it be a head gasket If both of the radiator hoses or hot.I thought all upper and lower radiator hoses get hot never heard of a car needing headgasket because upper and lower rad hoses are hot WTFa

ive never heard of checking to see if theyre both hot either theres alot of ways to check for a head gasket 1 check you oil to see if its milky white that means coolant is if your oil which means blown head gasket also presurize the system to see if you can see any leaks also you said you have a new cap whats the psi rating on it? your sure your water pump is working correctly? a shroud shouldnt affect it that much but always a good idea like said before a ducting system has work for many peaople on here too
