I tryed searching but couldnt find anyone with the same symtoms as me.
I have been all over this engine looking everywhere and i cannot find out what the problem is. My mechanic has also looked it over and didnt find anything.
Heres whats wrong.
The car is running very rich under any acceleration except full boost.
While maintaining a steady speed the car likes to buck around and "fart"/backfire.
When letting out the clutch, it likes to drop very fast and bog out, causing me to give it more gas. (sometimes up to 40% throttle just to get it going without stalling)
I feel no torque or pull at 0-9psi of boost, then i spike 10-18 and all hell breaks loose. no happy medium, either 100% boost or zero. 4500+rpms performs normal though.
When i turn on the car, it runs absolutly perfect for around 30-45seconds.
my idle sucks... it sits around 700rpm and frequently drops to 500 and even 400, and stalls out... at a stop sign or stop light, anywhere.
Boost gauge sits at -17psi vaccuum for about 40 seconds and then gradually drops to -7psi during the very rough idle.

i just had this car professionally tuned on a dyno using a profec b spec 2 and an safc2. Running 19psi boost with 550cc injectors. It was tuned on thursday and it ran perfect until sunday when the problems started occuring.

I unplugged the oxygen sensor wire (running across the manifold) and it runs normal: shitty. so i dont think its a bad oxygen sensor. I checked for a leak in the intake manifold gasket and its sealed tight.

While this has some symtoms of a boost leak, why does it run perfect for almost a minute EVERY time i start the car, even if it just stalled out? My guess is a sensor? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bogging on deceleration is a symptom of a bad VSS. Your idle fluctuation is a symptom of a bad ISC and/or a boost leak. Your running rich is a symptom of a bad o2 sensor and/or a boost leak.
So check for boost leaks first then go from there systematically checking your ISC first, o2 sensor second, and VSS third.

Are you throwing a Check Engine Light?

no ... no check engine lights.
I disconnected the o2 sensor wire running across the manifold and that threw a check engine light, but with that connected, the CEL is off.

Also, it doesnt bog while decelerating, just normal driving. While trying to maintain 40mph at 2800 rpms, it likes to buck around and drop to 2500 then shoot back up.... sounds pretty embarrassing while driving around.

Check your water temp sensor. pull it out and place it in a bucket of hot water. check the temp then check the readings.

If there is a real time data reader. Plug it in and drive. Watch the water temp sensor voltage, I bet as its heating up it send a poor signal to the ecu. Causing it to run rich. It will not throw a cel because the ecu is still getting a reading from it.
