running to lean??

the bov and exhaust shouldn't have to do anything with running lean seeing as they do not have to do with airflow coming in. also i would think that the ECU would adjust airflow coming in so it wouldn't run to lean.

If the ECU detects too much airflow passing thru the MAS you will hit fuel cut so you dont run to lean. You can run a 14b up to 15lbs of boost on the stock fuel system without much problem.

Do you have an afermarket boost gauge installed on the car? That will allow you to monitor the boost levels and know whats going on. My first "upgrade" was boost and oil pressure gauges.

Exhaust can easily increase airflow due to boost creep. A full 3 inch system can be so free flowing that the wastegate does nothing to limit boost and it'll creep up with no boost controller or anything.

This is very true. I have a full 3" exhaust and my 14b (unported) was creeping to 16~19psi by 5500rpms. Needless to say I had to pull it back off to port the housing.... So if ya can.. Port the turbine housing and flapper seat to get rid of creep before you put it on the car.
