Running rough after 20g install

I wasn't able to find much on this, so hopefully I can get some guidance. I finished my 20g install last night and when I fired the car up its running a little rough. I didn't try to drive it yet in case I missed something. I don't have a check engine light on or anything and I cant find any vacuum leaks. Here is what I have...

turbo back exhaust

Could it be that I don't have a boost controller or fpr? Or that it needs a tune? I have a safc2 I can install but I think im going to wait and get the link. Thanks, and I think I can try posting pics or video later if need be.

are you running just a vaccuum line from the turbo compresser to the wasteegate or do you still have the BCS installed. and your not running an afpr on a walbaro 255? i imagine your running very rich

yeah I assume running a little rich as well, don't have a wideband yet either. I do have the bcs hooked up

Ive ran my car without a fpr and a 255 for a while and still ran "good".

What exactly is the car doing that is different than before? How are you looking for boost leaks? Im thinking that could be your issue.

You haven't even driven it yet so are you saying it runs rough at idle? You're not real clear here.
Turbo won't change anything. fmic won't change anything. Exhaust will affect sound but shouldn't change idle. BOV won't change anything. Fuel pump won't change anything.

Think about this....if the car ran perfect before you did this then one of the items you touched is the culprit
Possibilities include
Fuel pump is overrunning the stock fuel pressure regulator. The only way to be sure is to have a gauge for fuel pressure.
You have a leak in the intake pipes
the new bov isn't recirculated
You unhooked or bumped a sensor during install (datalog might help find this) but a simple visual/feel of all connections wouldn't hurt.
If you unhooked battery it may take a minute for idle to smooth out. Unhooking the battery resets all fuel trims etc.

Those are some possibilities but certainly not all possibilities. Just those I think are likely.

and on the over pressuring the fpr.

a more through description of the proble would help us better dignose this problem

I will look more closely when I get home today. it is idling as if the bov was not recirculated, but it is. Just a rough idle. I would assume no fpr would be ok as the injectors are still going to flow the same. I will look more closely later and post. thanks

And there is the problem.....
Reasonable yes but not necessarily true. If fuel pressure increases then no they will not flow the same. Only way to be sure is to measure fuel pressure. You could also put the other fuel pump back in.

Its not such a good Idea to upgrade your turbo, especially since you have no way of monitoring whats going on. Did you change anything in the intake track? (boost leak causes roughness)

If nothing changed except the turbo, it should still start and drive fine until you get into boost. Then you risk damage to manifold because that 20g will quickly over run the 450s.

Good call on not doing the SAFC and holding out for link.

Well the only way an unrecirculated bov will effect idle is if its WAY off and sucking unmetered air in. Thats prob not the case. I would look into getting a wideband asap. Also check your maf connection. Sometimes people forget to clip it on all the way after pulling things apart.
You put in a full fmic: check that out.
The fpr may or may not be causing a problem. Some can handle a 255, some cant.

Its not going to take alot of troubleshooting. you should be able to find it pretty quick.
