running rich why??

My car is running rich and I don't know why. Could it be cause I don't have any cats... or could it be a bad o2.? Sum body help me please....

That's impressive math skills stacy. Ha ha you would have to drill a lot of holes in your intercooler piping to get 79 psi.

I would for sure check the O2 sensors. If you are running less than a 14.7:1fuel/air ratio (IE - 14:1, 13:1, or lower) that's causing your car to be running rich.

Yep how do you know its rich?

If you have a leak after the MAF then you could run rich.
Bad O2 sensor.
Bad Maf sensor.

Just throwing this in there, If you have no cat and the rear O2 is throwing a CEL you can put spark plug non-foulers on the O2 and space it from the exhaust. You have to drill one of them out but it would get your ECU to shut up about it. Then you can rule out that possibility. It's mainly trying all things and ruling them out. One thing always forgot about when running rich is the throttle position sensor.

I don't think the most you can boost is so much dependant on a specific boost pressure, as a CFM. A turbo that flows 205CFM @ 25PSI is not going to be nearly as hard on your motor as one that flows 600CFM @ 25PSI. Heat issues and detonation aside.
Now pushing more air into your motor than the stock fuel system can handle.. that's a different question.
