ok im getting an awd talon soon.comes with a wideband and its reading that its running 10.0 the lowest the aem wideband will go so its probly running a slight bit richer underboost.when you first start it.its running around 14,8 to 15.4 on idle.the only thing i can think of is that the BOV is vented would this cause it to run that rich:confused:...when i get it i plan on recirculating the BOV and turnin to boost from 14 to 16 willl this get it a lil bit off the rich side??..whats perfect fuel trim readings on the WBo2??.i have a safc i plan on tunning it with would taking a little bit of fuel and adding a little more boost be a good route to take??.

great.... i read somewere else on here that it should be 14.8-.15.4 at WOT LOL i knew that sounded a lil high for the 14b..so dont pass 11.5 on WOT gotcha..what about at idle and normal driving??

Those high afr's are for NA's, completely different.
Just about anything under boost you can lean more than 11.5, on the light load/idle afr's are 14-16:1
The 16:1 may cause issues, don't go over 14.7:1 unless you know what your doing.

ok cool yea when i test drove it its running aroun 14 to 15 at idle and no idle surges what so ever and this is with the BOV plugged an venting to the atmosphere..im thinkin if i just hook up a recirc tube it should run alot smoother... ..i just wasnt sure how to read an AEM eugo wideband...is 14psi normal to run on a stock 14b with out a mbc hooked up?? cause this car goes up to 14 psi and holds it through to redline

oh thats the info for my fwd laser i sold a while ago.i have to update with the new info soon......the new dsm hits full boost around 3500k i wouldnt be surprised if it does have a boost leak my old one had a slight one and it made a diffrence . no lag which i found a bit wierd when i test drove it unless it has a 190 fuel pump and the guy selling it dont know??when i get it ill have to check that out..ill boost leak test it when i get it
