So I was driving the car to the beach today and I hit the accelerator to pass a car and total lack of power. Car was hitting 20psi and i didnt even increase in speed... after that the car acted like it had about 100HP, aboslutely no power.. barely climbed up the gears and got the POS home. let it sit for a couple hours due to wanting to set it on fire, I got back in the car, ran perfect for 15 minutes... then did the same thing later... BOGGG, builds pressure like crazy real fast but doesn't increase in speed.. I can barely leave stop signs now.

My wide band reads rich the entire time when in boost, at idle its all over the place swinging back and forth.... I keep checking for boost leaks and nothing, i checked the compression in all cylinders all around 153 pounds. Also the teeth line up on the cams so its not the timing. Can I get some help on this?:banghead:
 
Bad plugs? Exhaust leak? How's the fuel pressure?
Not that this is your issues just stuff to check.
 
Fuel pressure, vac leaks possible from the wb jumping. IDK, id get that wb calibrated and make sure its correct. You running link?That maf/t could possibly be causing all the issues as well from what i know of them. Why dont people just run 2g mafs? They are good for atleast 400whp...
The non recirculated bov is only an issue when shifting in boost, you run rich for a split second. If it has a leak and is drawing in air or blowing air prematurely in boost, then youll get problems. I recently switched to a vent to air, i personally dont care about the rich condition for a split second.

It's a narrow wideband, fuel pressure is unknown I don't have a way to read that yet, I always had 2g maf on prev builds. Gm mac for the uncirculated bov. I don't anything tuning yet, I sold my link for my 90 and this is a whole different deal. Could I lean it out with safc.
 
There is no such thing as a narrow wideband. Either you have a narrowband gauge or a wideband gauge. If your gauge looks like a light show then you have a narrowband which is pretty much useless for tuning purposes. Have you checked for exhaust leaks pre-turbo? These can cause your car to run piss poor if you dont have boost leaks. Also pull your plugs to see if they are fouled from running rich all the time. Could also be a dying o2 sensor.
 
Sounds like a knock sensor to me. Do you have a CEL? Or a logger of any kind? If a BLT looks good and you have crazy fast spool I would look for crazy retarded timing. It's on the back of the block behind the factory IM brace if that's still there.
 
I found the problem... It was being a DSM.. Just kidding, Sold the Car. It was a vacuum leak
