running really rough

at about 3,000rpm regardless of the gear my car just getting shaky like its starving for fuel for cutting in and out, but my air/fuel gauge says its almost perfect.
what could it possibly be? what all should i check?

You have a boost leak..

Go ahead and go into the VFAQs and find the "boost leak tester" ..

So if I can find the leak and fix it, will that solve the issue or do I need to check something else, basically will it damage anything if it has been run with a boost leak?
