Running rough

This just started today, my dsm will some times hesitate, lose power and try to stall out sometimes. It usually does it at start up but sometimes it will be fine and I just got back from a drive and it did it in 3rd gear at about 3k rpms. I pulled the plugs earlier and my dad said they need changed. I was thinking it could also be bad gas or my mom thought my ex put sugar in my gas.

Ha. I dont think its bad gas. Sugar in the gas tank is a myth first of all. I would start with the basics. Change your plugs and your wires. Replace the fuel filter and air filter. And if you still have problems. It could be a coil pack or a few other things. But try those first.

im having the same problem man. do your lights dim? any problems with your battery voltage?

it wouldnt hurt to change your o2 sensors, sometimes they can cause that too

agreed on plugs and wires. you also might as well do your fuel filter while you're at it. I would be surprised if your problem persisted after this work.

and make sure you gap the plugs correctly.

*edit* just saw vette already told you about the fuel filter...
