Running pig rich

Ok so my car has been running ruff so I took the plugs out to check them and they a covered in black soot. I have a 255 pump with afpr set at 41 psi at idel, with stock black top injector. The rear o2 is not hooked up to the eexhaut but is just straped to the under carriage, would this cause the problme or what else should I look for?

So your not using wideband?

Nope, I just bought it and haven't had extra money 2 get a wideband yet. Just want to get it running decent on low boost for a dd....for now

The front sensor is used for your fuel trims.

Ill have to check that with the multi-meter. Any thing else I should look into?

Water temp sensor on the t-stat.

bad front o2 sensor, are you throwing any codes?

Ok so I tested the o2 sensor and it checked out so I figured id take a peak at the ecu check for bad caps and the ground wire, the cat had a apexi safc2 at one point and the harness was still hooked up so I figured might as well take it out while I was down there. I got it all out and it runs pefect now expect it idel searches a little but ill take that over running rich and crappy!
