Car was not running lean before today, I have DSMLink V3 but I got a code today on the way home for a bad O2 sensor. I know for sure the car is running lean because it feels horrible and my wide band is reading (---) then to normal when I tap the gas but before it started running like garbage it just kind of felt like there was not enough fuel, I figured it was just because I was low on fuel and it was sucking fumes because my gas light was on and it was close but I was on my way to the gas station. I got a check engine light for the stock O2 sensor being bad but I was wondering if that could cause the car to run lean? Also, my car won't go past -1 vacuum and I can feel it building the pressure but its kind of like its not dispersing it. I have already eliminated it being the following things:
MBC
Exhaust
Turbo (The waste gate flapper is not cracked or broken and functions well, I have tried switching out the waste gate itself and still nothing. I'm not positive that waste gate is good either though).
and I'm getting -21 vacuum at idle so I'm not sure what else to do.
Anything else you guys think it could be? I'm pretty much at a loss here :sosad:

Do a boost leak test, and change your fuel filter. It sounds like a fuel issue, but you can never do too many BLT's.

I will do another boost leak test but do you know of anything that could cause it to be that severe? Its literately sitting at -1 vacuum pressure when I am at full throttle.

Ok, the boost is showing up now on my boost gauge. It says I'm getting like 10 which is not right at all for the 16g plus it doesn't even feel like its going any faster under boost so I'm not sure what's going on with that. I can hear the turbo spooling up though and I can hear the blow off valve going off when I let off but I can't feel the power.

I found a split in the black wire to the connector going to my MAS so I'm going to fix that tomorrow and see if that's what it is.

I have already replaced the O2 sensor, now I am working on the tune and fuel pressure.

I fixed the running lean problem, it was something with one of the injectors. Loose connection or the connector wasn't fully seated. Now its running rich (Only a little) but my boost problem is back.
Last time I fixed it by doing a boost leak test so I'm going to do that again and let you guys know how it goes

I found out what it was, well not exactly but here are my symptoms.. I noticed when I went to do another boost leak test that I went to spin the turbo and it was really hard to spin. I took a 10mm socket and broke it loose (at this point I figured it obviously wasn't getting proper lubrication) then I sprayed some PB Blaster in the turbo and wiped it clean to make sure nothing was making the blades stick or anything stupid like that. I then began to change the feed line. I took the feed line off and nothing came out, seemed dry, just to make sure it was clogged or whatever happened I put the line at a down-hill slope to see if anything would come out and still nothing. I took the line off at the filter and oil came out so I know I had oil there. I had a spare line in the garage so I swapped the lines out. I have since ran the turbo and it boosted fine. I have not started it again yet though to make sure it didn't seize again. I will check tomorrow and get back to you guys on that.

Started it up and drove it today and it ran great! Must have been my feed line clogged or something. :thumb:

So after about 2 days or so of driving it, the same thing happened again. Its locked up... I'm just going to pull it and buy a rebuild kit, its really weird though because it has like 0 shaft play and it spins fine when its not locked up but when I first break it free I can hear a noise that kind of sounds like maybe the journal bearings rolling around. Do you guys think this turbo can still even be rebuilt?:pray::cry:
