So recently my car began to run really horribly at the SAFC settings that I had tuned into it (660 CC injectors so I was at about -14 on my set up with a hacked MAF). My car started stalling horribly and wasn't running great, when I put my foot down the AFR would be high 12/13's so I turned the SAFC up to try to tune the issues out in the short term.. Now I am somewhere in the +40's just to get it to run below 12 at boost at around 50% throttle. Sometimes when I put my foot down at WOT in lower gears it will stay below 12 at 11's and highish 10's, but most of the time it doesn't want to at all.. What do you think the problem could be? Obviously something is very wrong as there is no way with 660 CC injectors on 6.5 LBS on a .60 I should be having to richen it it that much just because the weather has been getting a little warmer. Any help would be really appreciated I don't want to do any damage to my motor. Also, the idle is sounding almost like I am missing, and the fuel pump doesn't seem to cycle when I turn the ignition on and the car takes a long time to crank and start (3-5 seconds).. Could these things be related?
Thanks in advance.

Do a Fuel pressure test to check the fuel pump, but sounds like to me you have a boost leak. check all your vacuum lines and your throttle body shaft bushings, do a boost leak test.

I don't understand what you mean with these numbers. are you talking about your a/f ratio? if so the problem is not that you are running "lean as hell", it's that you are running a bit rich in open loop it sounds. You want to target 11.1 best as possible in open loop. As far as reading A/F 10.0 = rich / 18.0 = lean. In closed loop the ECU will try to target a 14.7(provided it's tuned correctly). If you had a boost leak after your MAF, you will see a rich mixture because un-metered air is entering the combustion chamber during vacuum.

At light throttle and cruise it's okay to see those high air/fuel numbers and higher. The only thing you should be worried about (for the most part) is what your air/fuel ratio is at WOT. Generically speaking, at WOT on pump gas, I would like to stay on the rich/safe side with air/fuel ratios around 10.5-11.1 ;)

Regardless of how bad or good his tune is,that isn't the issue right now. there is some issue with his car. It is suddenly sputtering and stalling. And he shouldn't need to suddenly change the corrections on his afc.

Like I said, how about more info, what is your timing and Hz saying. It sounds to me like maybe your ecu isn't going into the higher airflow cells anymore. i'm not sure how else it could magically change if fuel pressure and boost are staying where they were.

He probably needs to make sure his fuel pressure is set correctly. if it is make sure that you compensate for the bigger injector size(aside from the 440cc) of 660cc. For 660 you need to subtract global fuel. and adjust deadtime which should be right around 180 microseconds as a starting point. Be sure your BISS, IAC, Base Ignition time is correct and that you are boost leak free.

RE-cap

Base Fuel Pressure
Base Timing
IAC is working and set to around 30
0 Boost leaks
MAKE SURE YOUR TPS IS PLUGGED IN AND ADJUSTED CORRECTLY.
[
Global Fuel(-39.9)
Deadtime(180)
]

not sure if you can do that with SAFC with whats been enclosed in brackets.

I checked my fuel pressure and everything checked out, so I decided to open up my ecu and there was a load of damage from leaking capacitors.. I cross-referenced the number on the ecu and it turns out it had a 90 ecu in a 91. I'm not sure if that makes any difference, but after changing the ecu to my spare which is clean and re-tuning the car is running like normal again. Thanks for all your help though!
