You probably have a boost leak. Get or make a boost leak tester and go from there.

I haven’t heard of someone installing a greddy intercooler kit in a very long time, surprised there’s still kits floating around.

I have a problem since i installed a Greddy intercooler and piping on my 97 Talon TSI, car is running lean according to my auto meter gauge, and is running very bad, hard to start,... I have stock engine and stock turbo, only upgraded the fuel pump with AEM but did not changed anything. My question is, is it possible that i need to change for bigger injector? Or it might be another problem that occured at the same time? Like clogged injector? Car was in storage for many years not running ( i changed fuel with new premium fuel just in case )

Are you saying this car hasn't ran until just now when you put the Intercooler on? Or you've been driving it a bit first?

Boost leak will cause a rich condition.

If the car has been in storage fior years all bets are off. Lots of maintenance to do. What makes you say it's lean? If it's a narrowband gauge throw it in the trash and get a wideband.
