1GA Intercooler install help

I'm going to be attempting to install my FMIC this weekend and I could use some help, so I'm starting this thread. First up, this plastic cover / duct work thingy. Keep it? Throw it out?

I'll have more questions as I go!

Yes scrap it I threw everything out on my dsm I coiuld think of get rid of it, and get to cutting.

You will have to remove it.. though it would not be a bad idea to look at how it channels air across the radiator and try to recreate that ducting later on. I actually used a few small pieces of aluminum and a lot of duct tape to seal my radiator and fmic to force air through the radiator. Made a huge diff on IAT's and engine temp

Yup it needs to go to make room for that new front mount
