rubber pieces around injectors

does anyone know where i can get the rubber pieces that set into the intake manifold where the injectors go? im swapping injectors and the they are hard as plastic and ones broken, and i cant get the others off my old injectors without breaking them..? thanks

Your injectors don't seal into the intake manifold they are actually in the back of the head itself. The seals that keep you from leaking boost around the injectors are PN MD087060 and I get them from Mitsu. You can order them from STM but it might take a few weeks to get them and with shipping you might even pay more then you would at the dealership, its your choice.

I have always found the injector o-rings there for every car I have worked on and they are also very cheap.

They have o-rings. No autoparts store sells the injector seals.

One thing I can tell you NOT to do is replace them with similar seals from the plumbing department of your local hardware store to try to save money. The fuel will eat away at the seals and you will then be spraying fuel all over your engine.

Yes I was retarded and did this on my old 93 talon about 3 years ago. I'm just glad I didn't catch the car on fire.
