I was doing a little wiretuck on the harness that runs across the intake manifold, and Im wondering if I can turn the injectors around 180degrees so the electrical connectors are hidden under the fuel rail?

Like the middle 2 injectors in this picture:

I dont see it making that much of a difference but then I noticed that the pintle caps on the black tops have 2 different sides:

So now Im unsure If its okay to spin them around. :hmm: I also noticed that the triangle bracket on the fuel rail keeps the injectors somewhat all inline. Has anybody spun them around before?

i know you can do it on a 1g, but when i tried it on my 2g on cylinder 4 the injector and plug in the coil pack so if you can get it to fit their shouldn be a problem! where did you put all the wiring from the harness with all the plugs if you dont mind me asking?

Yes that will be ok, that is how i have all mine.

2g's have dual tip injectors so thats why im wondering if it makes a difference.

I took that square plastic casing off, separated the harnesses and ran it like behind the coil pack, you can see it in the picture. and yea your right, the fpr, coil pack and intake mani are all in the way of spinning the injector 4, so I will probably have to leave that one how it is. Thats why im also wondering if I should have 3 facing one way, and 1 facing up.

yeah thats what i would do, but you can also make it look a little cleaner by running the wire underneath your fuel rail and it will look decent.

I am agree with (dsm92talonboost).

Run the Injector Wiring under neath the Fuel rail so the rail can hide the wiring.
I have my Injectors facing down as well, and #1 Injector is tight, Because of the Coil pack, (1g Style).
Also you can relocate your Transistor, to one side of the Manifold, (you need to extend the wiring to make it work).

I have a 2g, and have set it up like the 1g, which I have a 6 bolt.

I run all the wiring from the back of the Intake (under neath), the only wires that runs from the top, are the Injectors and the TPS.

I ended up leaving the connectors on the frontside and just tucking the wires under the rail and coil pack. I think it looks a little bit cleaner than it used to.

My harness is under my manifold. I ran my injector wires up through the runners. I only had to extend the coil plug to do it.
