RTM rear subrame bushing installation

I just wanted to be 100% sure when I go about installing these bushing. I burned out the rubber and metal insert "pin", im now left with a metal sleeve that has notches in it inside the subframe. The website says you need to retain this? or Do I need to press this out to install the bushing in?

Not sure what you mean by notches. Here's mine all cleaned up and ready for the new bushing. I dont remember any notches on the sleeve that remained.

when u burned out the bushing......there was a metal sleeve left. You pressed that out correct. I got the impression from the website that the first design by tuner nation required you keep that in? I burned the rubber out and banged out the metal sleeve the bolt goes through. There is an outer sleeve left. Did you press that out?

yeah the rubber and inner sleeve were removed. Outer remained.

ok thanks man, i figured thats what i had to do. But you never know with these damn cars. I gotta finish sand blasting, weld in the jays racing toe eliminator and then i can get these bushings in

Hey Bryan 93, what did you coat that with? Thanks.

It's just vht black paint, the epoxy stuff. I used the white grease that comes with ES bushings when I installed the subframe bushings as well.
