Check all of your ignition system components.
-coil pack
-spark plugs
-plug wires

Got a CEL?

Is your vehicle an automatic or manual transmission?? if its automatic it could be your transmission slipping, what you described sounds like what my friends 92 Z28 did before he got the tranny rebuilt
