1G rpm stops working past 4k rpm?

I was tuning adjusting my manual boost controller to my desired boost when i notice that my rpm stopps after 4k rpm. it shows 4k than when i slow down it goes down like regular but when i was hitting 60mph in 2nd with 4k rpm my rev limiter hit.

Is your car bone stock as your profile states? If so, depending on how much boost you're running you could be hitting fuel cut. This also could easily be a boost leak. In order to help more, we need more information...such as mods, boost level, whether or not you did a boost leak test, etc.

if the op was hitting fuel cut he'd know it.
op does the car have a any loose in power? if you do it could be you're coils, your power transistor going bad. mines is doing the same, it just started yesterday. id check the coil packs and the transistor first. and do a BLT just to make sure you don't have any.

yes bone stock and yeah its no fuel cut, i keep going faster and the power level feels amazing still its just the 4pm doesnt seem to want to go past 4k rpm

check the power transistor. mine went out once and i had no tack readings. idk if thats your issue but id check that.
