Hey guys thanks for all the help I finally Removed my tranny and clutch. Now all I have to do is do it all over again. I was wondering if anyone out there has used Royal Purple Oil in there tranny and if so what weight. And also should i try to clean out all of tyhe clutch dust out of the bell housing. I cant help you as far as royal purple, but an alternative suggestion is synchromesh. ive heard nothing but good things and it defiantely changed the characteristics of my 2g FWD. It is cheap and easy to find.

I would clean out your bell housing. Don't use compressed air. Wipe it out with a damp rag or towel. A clean tranny is a happy tranny :cool:
 
Pennzoil Syncromesh is cheap stuff that will do the job and do it well. Go ahead and do a search on Syncromesh and check out what everyone has to say about it. I used it in my car because Defiant seems to worship the stuff, and I couldn't be happier.
