Hey sup guys, im changing my tranny fluid in my car, and i was just wondering, because ive heard good things from both.

Which is better BG syncro shift or Royal Purple Syncromax???

wasnt quite sure which one to get, because ive been to a few auto stores, and none carry BG syncro shift, and some never heard of it........

Royal purple seems to be more accessible get, but i just wanna make sure its just as good as bg.

Also anyone know of stores that carry BG syncro shift or should i order some online.

Thanks alot guys.

Go to autozone and get the penzoil synchromesh for less than half the price of the bg or royal purple. You will be happier, 1- because it is easier to get, 2- its cheaper, and 3- your tranny will shift better than it ever has with regular gear oil.

Bro, just get Penzzoil syncromesh because it's the exact same as BG syncromesh and you won't feel a bit of difference between the two. Also I don't know of a royal purple vendor offhand but the BG can be gotten at www.machv.com .
It's GM Synchromesh that's the same as Pennzoil.

You should try the Pennz. It's cheap enough that you won't feel bad about throwing it away if you keep thinking the expensive stuff will be any better.

You guys are lucky...The Autozone in my area doesn't even carry Penzoil Syncromesh...neither does Pep Boys or Strauss Discount Auto.

Pennzoil Syncromesh like everyone else said. Same stuff as BG and half the price. Works great with our trannys.

I have BG syncroshift 2. I love it my trans shifts like butter now. It a little spendy at 15.00 a quart but I would buy it agian just put it that way. :thumb:

Again, BG Synchroshift is not the same as Pennzoil Synchromesh- Pennzoil's is the same as GM Synchroemesh.

Agreed. I've tried both, and I did NOT like BG Synchroshift--it made shifting harder.

GM/Pennzoil Synchromesh shifts great for me.

The reason I stated that is because I noticed NO difference when using Pennzoil from autozone or BG from machv.

Hence I say they are the same feeling to me.
But again oddly our cars all react differently to things...
Dam dsm's.
