Rough Idle, Random times

Certain times, my car idles very normally, no problems. Other times (completely random to my knowledge), it idles very low (500 rpms) and dies sometimes when I lay on the brake as I come to a stop. The voltage also dips when the rpms do. Its very odd, because its not all the time, just certain times. I think my car has a mind of its own.

Also, I just finished doing a timing belt/waterpump job. The car ran fine the first few hours, but after that it has been kind of random when it wants to idle nice. Upper rpms and boost is fine and strong.

check your idle airspeed control. sounds like the same crap my car did and another iac fixed the problem

I had the same problem after i had my timing belt tensioners and waterpump changd and it was because the timing was off by like 4 teeth and the shop who had done the job installed the wrong tensioner and broke something else according to trevtec they adjusted every thing and its been fine since then
