hey i came across this, cause i seem to have acceleration problems and could not find anything similar to mine.

Here goes, my engine ran perfectly normal, then randomly one day WHILE driving it began to sputter lightly, then became gradually worse while accelerating, then finally as i came to a stop my engine was running rough and sounded like misfire, it kept doing this as i tried to accelerate the entire time.. i replaced the spark plugs and gap at .028 to .030 and replaced wires. Timing is fine but after doing this it still has the problem. I haven't tried a boost leak test yet, but could that cause this?

I also read that it could be my TB is dirty. At idle it seems to boost up quicker then norm could it be a intake leak somewhere? I retightened all the hose clamps i could think of and find. i lots of possibilites but no one with a similar problem as mine any suggestions. i would really appreciate the help.

hey thanx guys... i found the problem after days of trouble shooting... apperently one of my spark plug wires was cracked on the boot end.... and apperenty so were one of the new wires i purchased... so after returning them and exchanging them for GOOD ones, me car ran great... thanx for the help guys...
Check that the plug on the transistor pack is seated right. Mine got loose one time and the car started to sputter until it would no longer turn on.
