Went through Slowboy and ordered a list of parts and they did not have pistons of choice in stock. I wanted Weisco 9:1. Since pistons were on back order the salesman said we can go with Ross 9:1's but when I went to the website it says it is a stroker piston. I do not want to do a stroker motor. I have Manley HB standard rods. Is this going to be a problem with the rods and does anyone know if Ross even makes a 9:1 piston that is not for a stroker motor. Thank you for your help.

Im pretty sure that they wouldnt send you a set of stroker pistons in place of the standard pistons you want. If they did do this on accident then you can just get ahold of them and have them swap you for the correct ones. Good luck with the build though. :thumb:

They may be sending you the 8.5:1 Ross pistons. Most companies do offer different compression ratios, you may have to order them custom. They may have had a set of custom 9:1 in stock. Call them to make sure of what you are getting.
