I'm not sure about auto cross, road racing, or rally, but this cage will be certified to 8.50 or slower in the 1/4 mile.

Awesome, I have been holding off on the cage idea for a while because i wasnt to sure about having the legs come down and messing with my ability to get in and out of the car daily. Thanks again.

Thats a really nice job....how much was the total weight of the cage? just curious

How does that work? There is no way you could get the cage up that far. Do you have any pictures of it? I personally thing it would be ugly that far into the windshield.

It doesnt looked hacked... I'll post some pictures tomorrow or Friday.

I never said you did... I was talking about what IslandTSI said.

It turned out very well. Better than my own personal car that I put a cage in.

you know i was looking for the pic, and i think the cage was in a evo, the one i was talking about through the tweeter...

Thanks guys... I try to do my best at everything I install/build.

Yes its MIG welded. I tack weld the halo and rear bars to the main hoop, tip it forward and make sure I get the weld all the way around it, then tack the front bars, door bars and rear bars to the back, along with seat bar and "D" (30*) bars in, then make sure everything fits well and finish welding everything.

I dont stitch weld anything. If necessary I will stitch weld the floor plates due to the metal heating up on the floor and blowing through, causing a fire to start under the car from the undercoating of oil and gunk.

I can look for a close up of the dash. It didnt turn out as well as I wanted it, but it fit very well. Kind of a bi*** getting the dash in as well.

Let the wheels go guys. Who cares, some people have body kits, some have big wings, neons, altezzas, and other BS parts that people dont like. Big deal, its his car, let him do what he wants to do to it. Pink wheels or not.

I like the pink wheels :) I know i wouldn't have the guts to drive my car with those wheels but they're deinately unique LOL.

The roll cage looks amazing, how many have you done?
