Alright wihtout going into the details of how it happend, ive gota blown rocker arm. One valve is definately done. It is the one on the first cylinder from the right (looking at the motor from the bay) it is the cam that is closer to the firewall and it is the left valve on that line. I would like to know if this is an exhaust or intake valve, can i just replace that valve if its the only one and put the head back on? Can I also shave the head down to give it a little bit of extra comression, or is it a bad idea with the turbo set up?

well, i dont know much at all about imports in any way but i would assume the valves that are right next to the intake manifold would be the intake valves and the ones next to the exhaust maniold would be exhaust valves.

The cam closest to the firewall is the intake. Shaving the head is a bad idea to increase compression. If you look at a NA motor it has higher compression and these guys that turbo them can't run as high a boost as a turbo motor. As far as replacing the valve in the head as long as there is no damage to the head you should be ok but your machine shop needs to make that decision
