Well you all know that i did a compression test and found out that i had zero compression in cylinder 1. well today i pulled the valve cover off and found the rocker arm, thats suppose to go to the very first intake valve on the top-left hand side of the head just laying right next to where its suppose to be. so how do you guys think that happened and what are the effects of it? Is the intake valve staying stuck open and thats y im not getting any compression?

O, i pulled the exhaust mani off and i shined a flashlight down the spark plug hole and i didnt see any light from the exhaust side of any of the cylinders, so im guessing thats a good thing!

thanks!
josh

ya man, that makes since, so if the valve hit the piston hard enough to throw a rocker arm then the valve got bent for sure.

well i just got done pulling the head and saw that the two intake valves on cylinder 1 are bent pretty bad. off to the shop it goes
