Stock motor, may go with some gsc s2 cams or go smaller with 272s (HKS or kelford), MHI 20G 25psi not safe to push higher I know , stage 2 clutch, 850cc injectors (may go to 1000cc) 255 fuel pump, pump gas, fmic, hks bov, k&n intake. Felpro head gasket , arp head studs.'ll keep anyone interested Posted on the build.

Just my .02 but of your running hks 272 is upgrade those springs to a better spring and if your gonna rock those kelfords or gsc s2 cams I'd get a dual spring. I'd also read up on felpro.... I had some issues with them.

IM: Stock. They have made over 650whp. If you're 2g then get a 1g TB, new gaskets to match, and open the 2g IM up to match. 60mm i believe.
Exhaust mani: Stock, again, port it out a bit(turbine side) make sure there's a smooth transition to the turbine.
Kelford 272? yea.... you are gonna have to go ahead and upgrade springs. Actually, with any 272 i would go with upgraded springs/retainers. Like a Brian Crower kit. Doesn't have to be kiggly duals or super pricey stuff. I think the kelfords may be a bit overkill but if you want room to grow then get em.
The 20g? Idk much about it. Assuming it's a 45lb/min turbo, or thereabouts. You can use a stock o2 housing as well. Just take that $25 carbide bit and an air die and get to work. Port the hell out of it.
Exhaust? Bigger is always better.

Most important thing of all: Buy once, buy RIGHT. Purchase for what you WILL want. Injectors are common place. "oh, i only NEED 1000cc to hit my goals, that's good."
Then you start upgrading everything and learn that you basically flushed $350 bucks. Just bite the bullet and get a big set. Unless of course you know for a fact you will never run e85. In that case? Yea, the FIC 2150s would be overkill no matter what you bolt on to that thing.
I have turned a 20k project, maybe less had i done everything right, into just a hair under 30k and it's about finished. I'm embarrassed to admit that but believe me, many others have made the same mistakes.

Best of luck and the 4g63 can make 410 to the wheel without a lot of money or a lot of work. Just start making a list. The little things you miss and have to order again? That sucks!

Clutch: Recommend Comp stage 4. If budget is on your mind a fella on here had great luck with an xtd stage 5(iirc?) kit. Put a TON of power through it and had great durability.
That said there are any number of clutches that will handle your power. Just overbuy on this. Again, lesson learned. But heavier than you need. Fluidampr is a good investment as well considering you're manual tranny

That's some good info! And I'm probably going to tune via tactrix, have an SAFC II "tuner" now. Ram horn exhaust manifold, think I'm ditching the 20g. Manifold I just got it holset status LOL.

I would ignore this person. Felpro permatourqe are awesome headgaskets I have used them many times and not one has failed. If your going to rev beyond 7500 you do need springs.

What are you talking about? I said read up on felpro.... I know a few people who have had issues with them... So have I. Did I say don't get them no! And as for the springs... You really going to say he's good running a stock spring with his 272? Your wrong... And if he's using those kelford and gsc cams hahaha you need them. Stock spring will not hold those. Ask any head builder that does 4g73 and say your going to run those and the will say you need better then stock spring and duals on those bigger kelford and gsc cams.

Give us a call on the springs. We'd be happy to discuss your specific needs.
