RNR Turboback Exhaust

I dont see what is so great about RNR, I'd reccommend going VRS. Prices are about the same and shipping time is so much better. And I believe VRS has a better design if you go o2 eliminator because you don't have to unbolt the o2 housing every time you want to drop the downpipe.

I recently bought an RNR 2.5" catback. I received it on the east coast in one week. I requested a #2 o2 bung, nope. Hardware and gasket, nada. Hangers welded in the right spots? Not yet, but soon! Good price and delivery though. WTF

RNR has o2 elminators.

Real 3inch through, I suggest you look at your pipe bends, and check them, they probably neck down.
Yeah I know RNR has O2 eliminators but I have to say I really dont like the design of them. Don't know about the 3" as I only have the 2.5" but it is a constant 2.5". The reason I don't like the design is say if you have to drop the oil pan, like I am having to do to replace it, you dont have to unbolt the whole thing from the turbo to drop it, but then again you're the one buying it. Lastly with the VRS I got it in under a business week. Not too many RNR customers can say that.

I still don't completely understand your post, with any exhaust, your going to have to drop your downpipe to get the oilpan off..

Anyhow, There's a point to actually having a Turboback exhaust, it is starting and ending in the dia that you purchased. RNR's entry point for the WG is definatly a good shot. Not much I can say about the VRS o2.. it enters right at the exit.. I definatly don't like that turbulance so sudden.

And I definatly don't like from the pictures I've noticed, that the pipe doesn't use all of the existing exhaust hangers, especially on the DP. I wouldn't want all that weight on my Turbo with a turbular manifold, thats for sure.

I haven't seen installed pic's on 1g or 2gs as well.. hopefully the muffler doesn't stick out diagonally from the rear bumper or anything.

What he is saying is that instead of just unbolting the 2 bolts that hold the Dp to the O2 housing, you would have to unbolt the O2 housing from the turbo becasue they are one piece.

I look at it this way. If you want good performance they get an O2 elim. If you really need to get into the bottom of you motor so many times that it becomes a pain, then perhaps there is more to worry about than just your exhaust.
