Interesting situation, the only 2 codes my ECU has ever thrown at me are RM and the Coolant temperature code. Here's the interesting part, they have never been on at the same time. I do have a 6 bolt swap and the car ran fine without any ECU codes until I blew the turbo. Since then I have had RM show up. About a month ago I replaced my manifold/turbo gaskets and all of a sudden NO MORE MISFIRE
or RM code. I did have the Coolant temp sensor code show up though, I just had some issues with starting the car when this happened and it she ran a bit rich. Turns out I accidently ripped the power wire to the plug. Now I replaced the sensor and fix the wire BUT now I have RM again
I fixed the wire earlier today so I will have the ECU codes checked ASAP to get the actual Code #'s it throws. Until then has does anyone have any idea what relation these two codes have?
P.S.: I'm thinking of cutting the power wire again because it is very annoying running with a RM code I haven't been able to get rid of for years. I'd rather run a bit rich than with RM
