Has anyone used anything to seal the harness connectors where the wires enter the plugs, and make them rigid?

For example, I'm thinking of coating the back of the TPS plug with something like fiberglass resin (or something else non-conductive), so that the stress will be taken up in the wire length instead of right at the plug. It will also help the wires exit straight out, instead of being pulled to one side due to the harness layout and vibrations.

Has anyone done this, and have recommendations for what to use? I'm familiar with the "liquid tape" stuff...it works good as a sealer but doesn't provide much (if any) structural strength. Non-metallic epoxy would work, but it isn't very heat resistant and yellows with age.

Ideas?
