Right Rear Break keeps grabbing

I have a 1990 eagle talon tsi awd and this is the second time now that my Right rear brake pad is down to the metal where the rest of my brakes have 90% left im thinking it might be the e-brake cable but im not sure how to adjust it and if it might be a frozen caliper.

I had a problem with one of my fronts a couple years back..The piston was just frozen..I rebuilt the piston never had a problem since.. But since it's your rear it could be ebrake, but then again..It's probably just a frozen caliper..

I have no doubt that your problem is the slide pin (can't remember the name) that the caliper pivots on is frozen up.The rear calipers were designed like crap on the 1g's and this has happened to mine so many times. Your gonna have to buy the new slide pieces or a new caliper because you may not be able to find them seperately

how would i check if the slide pin is bad?

Check if the parking brake cable is extended roughly the same distance on both calipers. Just replaced a rear caliper as the internals of the of the parking brake portion of the caliper were rusted soild. Unfortunately there are lots of things to go wrong on these rear calipers. Good news is that O'Reilly's has rear calipers (with new slide bolts) for $100.
