I had to take this hole thing apart to replace some nylon washer that wore out. Did I put the linkage in the right hole? As you can see there are 2 holes, top and bottom. It was like this when i got it, but not sure if it is right.. Not sure if it even matters. Drives great with it like this, just not sure if it is "fully engaging ". Could these holes be fore different throw percentages?

The b&m shifter has 2 different throw reductions one is 30% reduction and one 50%, you probably put it in the 50% hole that's why it seems like the gear doesn't go all the way in.

likely if you swapped the holes it would feel like it is not engaging correctly when compared to the throw you were used to. I can see how you would get confused by that feeling, i have trouble just going between the dsm and the rx8 because of how close the gates are on the 6 speed.

I have mine in the 30% shorter and it can feel sometimes like it's not in gear all the way but you get used to it.
I don't have the b&m I have the megan and it's the same thing one thing that bugged me was that C clip. I got mine together when I first got it, tested it out and put the console back together, started her up and put it in gear PING. There goes the c clip so the whole thing had to come back apart. Since then I drilled a hole after the C clip and put a cotter pin in there incase it ever happens again but it hasn't so that is a good thing.
