I was thinking about rhino lining my engine bay. It seems very tough, and extremely easy to clean. Do you think they could apply this to my engine bay or do they only spray it on truck beds?

Paint is easy to clean too.

For the right price they'll spray it anywhere you want it.

The cost isn't in material, it's prep work.

To have a Jeep tub sprayed is $500, that's if I strip everything out except for the driver's seat.

Na...don't do it in your engine bay. One place I have heard of it used was on body parts though...like if you scrape often in the front you can rhino line the bumper to keep it from cracking. Other than that, I think it'd be best to keep in the bed.

You would have to completely remove EVERY item in the bay. No engine, harness, bolts, clips, the works. Then when it dries you would have to go around and dig through a 1/4 inch of that crap to find all the bolt holes and stuff.

Not worth it.

Ya, now that iv'e actually thought how long it would take to drill all of the holes and stuff out... screw it. I'll just repaint the engine bay.

I had line-x put on my truck bed and it didnt fill in the drain holes or the holes where the bolts go through to attach the bed to the frame. I know the rhino lining is a little different...my boss has that on his truck and he dosent like it as much as the line-x. You will have to strip out just about everything. The texture comes out of the gun at like 2300 psi or something like that and will really do soome damage. I'm not sure about the weight factor of it. But will hold the engine bay of your car together for the rest of the cars life.

You can also buy it in a spray car at any auto part store. It is just like the line-x and rhino spray. Seems to work just as good and easy to use.
