I bought the RFL quite some time ago, and under boost pressure, it always leaks. It's done this since i bought it, and i just thought it may be normal. I've got no washers in it right now, because i get compressor surge if i have any in. Thats only under light boost though. However, i did add all 6 washers and do a boost leak check, and it leaked the exact same amount. Now, i've got the RFL recirculated. I wrote a thread on how to do that a while back. So, no metered air is really escaping, but i was just wondering if the leaking is normal? Or, is there a way to fix it?
Its leaking from the valve itself, not anywhere else. I've got the vac/boost line hooked up to it also. With 0 washers and 6 washers, the leak is all the same. It seems like it should have an o-ring or something where the valve seats. The metal to metal surface just doesnt provide a great seal.
Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks
