Of course they did. They're paid to like them.Quasimondo said:When Road & Track tested it, they actually liked how it handled, despite the weight.

That's the most beautiful thing I think I have read on this site in years. Kudos to you, sir. You are exactly right about the friends thing. Even driving a 2GNT, when you roll into Norwalk for that one weekend of debauchery each year, it's not so much a DSM meet as it is a family reunion. You see a 1G on your way back from picking up your hooch at the grocery store and you throw them a thumb's up or peace sign and they do the same right back at you. There's no need to even know their name. You know what they've been through and you all know what this community is all about. While that 4G concept car might be delicsiously tempting, it's still not a DSM and never will be. This community has something no other community can ever hope for - we've got heart. Raise your glass to the DSM family.t3/t4eclipse said:As cool as that would be, props to that car by the way. One reason I would have to say no to the production of that car is when im on the freeway and I see another dsm'er its as if we are already friends. You both have a mutual respect for one another and for a car that is not as easy to get as a brand new car that timmy and his rich parents decided to pick up at the dealer because the camry he wanted didnt come in sunset orange, you have to love them to go through the trouble of getting one. Dsm'ers from what I have seen, seem to get along with eachother more than people in other car clubs, when you see a "friend" (as my girlfriend likes to call them) on the road you can immediatly relate to the late night flatbed ride home and the embarising idle surge as you cruise through downtown, that you know he/she has experianced aswell. I believe it or not, like the fact that we are a rare and feared breed of tuners in the car community that are keeping 90-99 on lockdown. Leave the future to them and leave the past to us. Thats just my 2 cents on this matter.
