Edmonton,
I know alot of you 420a guys will remove that small restrictor plate from inside you clutch master cylinder. Is this process the same in my car and if so has anyone done it and how was your results?

I know of a restrictor in the slave to prevent the pedal from bouncing back so hard. But I've rebuild my master and I don't recall a restrictor.

I did remove the restrictor in my slave. No ill effects.

Interesting, becuase me and my friend focker420 did this to his 2g n/t and it was in his master. Did the restrictor in your slave when you removed benifit in anyway?

Not really. I slip my clutch because I'm FWD. But I can see this benefit the driving characteristics of an AWD. I did see some benefits for short shifting 1st gear. It worked by bringing the pedal back to my foot lots quicker for that early 1-2 shift. But I found a better way to clear my 60ft.

It would probably benefit an autocrosser or rally car all the way around.
