Yeah weird I know. I uninstalled the maft and went back to my running recirc setup. Started the car and it stalls just like when I was venting. So when I got it to hold a idle of like 300 I ran to engine to keep it running. When giving it gas, it seemed like it wasnt doing anything, and I had major restriction going on. After it cleared up with me still giving it gas, I felt the backfire on my leg, which Im guessing came from my FMIC. I was going to go pick up supplies to do boost leak check, but now I cant even keep my car running with it set up the way it was before.

any ideas?

What else did you change on the car since last time it ran? DO you have on the stock Maf right now?

So you changed the stock maf or are you using that one now still never answered my question about the intercooler piping if it blew off that would tell a little more about whats going on. If you are running that maf try a different one it could be so messed up and causing problems but im not sure if it would cause a back fire threw the intercooler piping. Just for chits and giggles did you wire everything up when you did the 6 bolt swap?

HUH????????????????????

1. No the IC piping didnt blow off
2. Im in a 95 TSi not the 98 AWD in profile
3. I just posted pics of what the problem is. The Stock MAF board is fried to no end. The caps all leaked and even the main plug to the board is (rusted, broke, ect).

This would explain the bad gas mileage, the bogging, Throwing codes, misfiring because it wasnt reading the air flow, ect ect ect

You didn't say that you had fixed the problem you just posted pics of stuff. I thought you were still having problems. Change your profile information thats were I looked to find the information thats why I said what I did about the 6 bolt swap.

Well its not exactly fixed just yet. I just pulled the parts today and im gussing thats my problem for everything I have been seeing.
