I have a 90 TSI 2.0 Turbo.
On the passenger side of the head is a round "thing" four wires coming out of the bottom of it (red, yellow, black, and white) - this is my first time under the hood of a DSM, so I can only guess that it is the Cam Sensor?
I need to know where each wire goes, because I have no plug on those wires and can't understand the Chilton manuals diagram.
If any of you guys can direct me to a good VACCUM or WIRING DIAGRAM I would be greatful. Squirrels ate wires and vacuum lines like they were going out of style, oversized rats!
Does the Black wire coming from the top of the compressor change to a black wire with a white stripe after the connector (about 6 inches away from compressor)?
Any one know the Resistance readings for each sensor? I'm fixing to install a new ECU (the old one was fried)
P.S. I bought this car about a week ago, was told it was a ECU. Car has been sitting for about 6mos. I bought it for next to nothing. Tires are Flat and it obviously will not start. Body is MINT and Interior is really nice. So I figure even if I have to drop a new motor in her I'll still come out ahead.
I really appreciate you guys helping me get her on the road again.
