When i first bought my car i came to this site asking for help hoping ppl would help me and they have plenty my car is still a lil rough around the edges and has high high millage but still runs strong.. now some of u may say junk the car its a POS blah blah blah but im not one to give up on things that easy.. the other day i had a blow out on the interstate no big deal changed the tire and then "shook down the car" meaning i moved the tire from left to right to test the ball joints.... there horrible. so at work i lifted the car to see wut else was rong with it and i come to find out that the hole front end needs an overhaul. every suspension and steering component (havent had power steering sence i bought the car so thats no big deal) i kno that wen i under go this project its gonna be alot of time and money and im doing a full restore to the car witch includes all the body work and wut not i was just wondering if anyone has a ballpark estimate as to how much i could be looking to spend.

fenders, rocker panels , quarter panels, hood , hatch , doors.... just the body work

all suspension and steering components

im also going to be doing a motor and trans swap but thats for a later time.

any help or opinions will be greatly appreciated

If you like the car that much, I say go for it. It won't be cheap at all. Just do it right, make it look brand new and it will get alot of attention. Id much rather look at a nice restored n/t then a riced out turbo.

sounds like a lot of work for a n/t, but if you want too keep it forever go for it. If you do all the work your self that will save a ton of money. If not you are looking at pretty penny.I would say over 6,000 too do it right at least.

Go to a place called Certifit. CertiFit Auto Body Parts - Home They are in Cleveland, and they will have all the parts you need for the body. Like the fenders, core support if needed, front bumper, lights, Hood, ect ect. As for the quarter panels you may have to buy a welder or have someone weld in some patches. I dont know of any shops selling replacement quarter panels or rockers someone else may know of a place tho.

I had some rust on my car on the quarters near the rear bumper and a lil spot on the rocker. I just cut out the rust and welded in some new metal.
