Well that is the high pressure line to the boost controller. That 1g looks like it still has the crappy stock setup with a boost control solenoid(=junk). They should get a mechanical boost controller like the Hallman Pro or something instead to hook up there.

I'm guessing you're referring to some nipple off the lower intercooler piping on the outlet of the compressor. If so, that's a intake source pre-throttle body and usually connected to the boost controller.
