Ok im going to try to explain this ..And hopefully someone will understand what im saying

Ok i just got my mbc in the mail and i go outside to put it on, and im looking for the stock bcs so i can bypass it..And there isnt one to be found. So i have no bcs and no mbc running 10-11psi (not possible?).

My bov line goes straight to the bottom side of the intake manifold.
And my waste gate line just goes straight up onto the j-nipple going back into the compressor housing.

Im stumped

Niceeee dude thats what i wanted to hear.. I went ahead and installed the mbc just like you stated.
To bad my cars in a coma right now, I should have her running again by x-mas.

thanks

As SBStar mentioned, your old setup was fine. Just remember not to use the BOV-Intake Manifold line for anything else besides the BOV. Try to keep the lines to and from your MBC as short as possible. And keep the boost to sane levels at first. :)

I'm bored and feel like typing.

The stock WGA's actuation pressure is around 10-11psi. Running the line straight from the compressor outlet to the WGA will therefore give you about 10-11psi of boost.

The MBC "hides" compressor outlet (boost) pressure from the WGA so that you can run higher boost levels than 10-11psi. A bleeder-style MBC leaks air so that the boost the WGA sees is lower than what the compressor is producing. A ball/spring MBC blocks the signal altogether until it reaches a certain level and then switches to a bleeder of sorts (ball/spring MBC function is actually much more complicated than it may seem at first).

Ya i was kinda wondering how a mbc could higher the boost if it wasnt replacing like a solenoid or something.
Thanks kenamond for the mbc info.

Also make sure that your MBC isn't on backward. I've met a few people who installed them that way, and couldn't figure out why they were boost 'spiking' to 30psi (the limit of their gauge) and the car ran like complete ass. Wrong-way-round, it acts as a check valve and lets no pressure through at all, so the WG never opens. If it's a standard Joe P style ball and spring, the line from your compressor outlet elbow vac fitting should go into the nipple directly opposite the adjustment screw, and the line to the WG actuator should come off the side.
