(Resolved) Need a 90 Turbo ECU

Hello all,
A friend of mine had his 90 ECU in his gsx completely let go. Not the usual caps busting kinda of let go. I'm talking about completely fried mess. So far I've turned GA inside out looking for an ECU. I'm still waiting to hear back from ECUlink. Do you know of anywhere else I can check or personally know someone with one of these ECU's for sale?

It's a 90, so its very specific. It must be from a 90. His VIN actually shows his car is a California car but it has been running on a 90 Federal ecu for over 10 years with no problems. At this point I'll take either.

Oh man, that can be a rare part. Check this site's classifieds daily and post a parts wanted listing too. It's a long shot, but you never know. Try DSMtalk.com as well.
I found a '90 turbo ECU (non-EPROM) for a FWD once at this local place called Kens Karz here in Denver. I didn't even need it at the time and I was ridiculously overcharged, but I'm glad I got it. Maybe try calling around to DSM specialists in the surrounding states. GL

You can have 91+ ECUs modified to work plug and play in a 90 car. Finding a clean 90 EPROM at this point is going to be hard.

The guys at ECMTuning should be able to do the conversion and if not I still have a few of the boards KeyDiver made to do it.

I've tried many times to PM but server keeps timing out. But I have a 1990 EPROM ECU from an AWD federal manual. Just had it rebuilt, recapped, and socketed by ECMtuners this Feburary. Hasnt seen any time in car since getting it back but tested good on the bench. The ecu looks perfect. Asking 235 shippd or 225 for local pickup.
