So I was driving last night and it was raining and I think I hit a big puddle of water cause a whole lot of it came splashing up and covered my whole left side. After that my brakes, alternator, power steering, and water pump (but I didn't realize it till about 2 minutes later) went out. I babied it to the nearest gas station and parked. I figured the water must have shorted out something so I turned off everything running in my car to save the battery. Then I went through my logger to find my coolant at a temp of 248. Ouch. I quickly killed the engine and opened the hood and radiator cap. That's when I noticed the belt came right off the pulleys for everything listed above. So how screwed am I? If I had any doubts I have a blown head gasket, they're gone now. I really don't know what happened. There was squeaking coming from the belt before but I didn't know what to make of it. Now I'm paying for it.
I hope my head isn't warped.
