First off, brief description of build. Fully built 4g63 from 1G in 2G car. Moroso oil pan lines up with bolt holes but hits ARP main studs on flywheel side. Stud makes contact with inside of pan well before it even comes close to seating. This is actually a car I am helping a friend put together. He has tried to contact the place he purchased the pan from but has had very poor response / customer service.
After searching forums for someone with the same problem I did not find anyone. It makes me wonder if something else is wrong. I am thinking the pan was just built wrong or not made for use with studs (unlikely). Any help would be appreciated.

A few people on Dsmlink forums have had this same problem and just get rid of the pan.

Thats what I was thinking. As far a modifying the pan, Its hits so bad that massaging it with a hammer would result in a hole to finally make it clear. Seems like numerous people have had this problem. It looks like a nice part and it sucks that Moroso hasn't fixed it by now. Guess we will use the stocker. Stock one is not in the best shape and was the reason for replacement. Thanks for the feedback guys. Saved me a lot of time :thumb:
