I has pumping my tcase with new fluid today and I have a nozzle so it seals on the fill plug. I was filling then all of a sudden it was flowing from the top of the tcase is that were that round ball is and is that some sort of over flow?

The proper way to fill the t-case is to fill it until the fluid is level with the threads of the fill hole, on a level
surface. The hole in the top is likely just a pressure release port. As the fluid heats up, it expands, and
trapped air escapes through that hole.

I was doing that but the nozzle is made to stay in the fill hole so that probably built up the pressure.
