I just got done doing a balance shaft elimination kit on my motor and as i was doing so this just dropped from my motor onto the floor and i have no idea where it came from or what it is. Here are the pics.

Its a spacer on the Balance shaft, between the shaft and the gear. It for the Belt Driven side. Kinda on the Left side of the oil pump, but since you pluged it with a seal, or freeze plug ( Balance Shaft Elim Kit) you don't need it anymore. Keep it with your shaft, gear, and other parts in case you ever go back to Balance shafts.

On your front balance shaft, do you remember a spacer that went behind the gear inbetween the shaft and the gear itself? Thats what it looks like to me. If it is that, then its the spacer that spaces the gear off the oil pump housing. Usually the assembly goes Bolt - then the gear that the timing belt goes around - then the spacer - then all that is bolted to the front balance shaft.

Damn i was beaten to the punch! LOL hahaha sorry LOL
