I can't find it in the book, I've tried asking people, and none of the auto parts place know what it is or think they carry it.

It was on the throttle body as you can see in the picture and the little prong snapped. Does anyone know what it is or where in zeuses butthole I can find one?

Solution
It's the closed throttle switch I believe, also Google fsm for your year dsm, it's great to have anyway. If I was you I would try soldering it back on, even though it's super close LOL. If not junk yard or dsm parts or even stm will be able to help you I'm sure. Dsm part outs, you can even go online at a Mitsubishi parts site and find a blow out diagram.
This may show a better view of what I'm talking about location wise

It is just a closed throttle switch. It just tells the ecu that the throttle is all the way closed. If you can't find a used one on here or a new one than you can always run a 2g tps with the 4th wire hooked up in place of this switch. You could also go the solder route, but i would instead solder a wire to it instead of the broken part.

Unfortunately I have until tomorrow to fix it. So it's either solder it (as soon as I can get my hands on the tools for that) or find one somewhere.

None of the local junkyards have any non 420a eclipses or talons.

Idle switch. Solder it up and go. I have a 2g w 1g tb and don't have to mess with it. Left it on there but not connected. Link can simulate idle as well if you ever get it, just fyi. Its a nice feature

Saving up for link now. When you say link you're referring to DSMlink correct?

I couldn't get soldering it to work. Nothing was sticking. But then again I've never tried soldering before.

Appreciate all the input guys.

What type of solder were you using?

You won't be able to solder the tab back on unless you remove some of the plastic surrounding the part still attached to the sensor, it's such a narrow surface that even if you could solder it back together it would probably break soon due to the engine vibration. Your best chance is to hit the JY closer to home looking for a good used one.
