well i searched and couldnt find anything, so here it goes. i just recently installed an HID kit in my 91 talon and when im driving it seems to blow the middle 30 amp fuse on the battery terminal.... does this mean that i have something crossed that shouldnt be? it doesnt happen all the time only when i hit bumps pretty hard since i have 4 blown struts (getting new ones soon) but my headlights, turn signals, and break lights all work, but i have no running lights no fogs or no dash lights... just seeing if anyone has any ideas as i go out to get another fuse:ohdamn:... thanks for the replies

well it sound's like you may need that make sure the 12v+ is not grounding out. Do you have the battery tied down if so how. and the 12V+ grounding to your hood. check to see how muck you can move the led's you want everything tied down as good as it can get.

nothing really can move that much i mean the battery is held down by the stock bracket and the hids cant really move at all

anyone know where i can find the little pink 30 amp fuse that go on the poss. battery terminal? do i have to order them, ### autozone doesnt have them

if i am right they are box fuses and they can be hard to find, usually car quest has them but i would check to make sure your terminal bolt is tight, and follow the positive battery cable and make sure it is all good, and take apart that fuse block i was having a no start problem and i took that apart and the inside was solid blueish white corrosion, so clean all that out and spray an electrical lubricant into it, and for good measure double check your installation on your hud

well i figured it out... it wasnt the 30 amp box fuse in the fist place this time it was my tail light 10 amp one....:banghead:  but everything is all kosher now and i went to the junk yard and got like 20 30 amp box fuses just in case it happens again till i figure out whats goin on with my wiring!
