I recently had the missing link installe on my turbcharged 420a, it ran good for a couple of day's but now it constantly send's the check engine light on (code p0108) map circute high input. I also have a MSD ignition coil, I've had it for about two year's. I also get code's (po300, p0301pd, p0302pd, p0303pd, p0304pd, and p0300pd for cylinder missfire. I know that I need a new coil, I have already ordered one, it's suposed to be at the store this friday. Does anyone think that the coil and or wire's could have anything to do with the map sensor. Oh and one more thing at times it does cut fuel but not as hard as it did befor the instalation of the missing link.

That's what im looking to purcase now. Do you know of any shop's in Houston that sell the FCD?:thumb:

I don't think those two issues would be related. Sounds like the missing link is failing...especially if the P0108 code pops back up during the first couple of attempts to boost after clearing. For a quality FCD, you can send a PM directly to VelocitàPaola, I believe he personally builds and sells them.

also im not sure but could the missing link be installed upside dow causing it to block signal to the map sensor. my buddy did it on his honda just a thought

Thank you everyone for your advise, I ordered a HKS FDC from ASAA Racing they were kind enough to have it rush delivered. So it will be at their store on Monday, The employee who waited on me was very helpful. He called HKS to get their input on which of their three FDC's would be the right one for me. Then he printed up the installation instruction's and made sure I understood them. Now I know the installation is pretty straightforward, but I've never installed one before. Shot out to every one on DSM Forms, and all the people over at ASAA Racing at the Houston location. :hellyeah:

Whats up every one? First of all I would like to thank everyone for all of the help. Second I wanted to let every one know that I have solved the p0108 code problem that I was getting while using the missing link. The problem was the two o-rings that where installed from the factory on my missing link were too small. Every time my car gave the p0108 code I would pull my map off the missing link and the check-valve assembly would be touching the map. Obviously letting the map read pressure (boost). So I installed two bigger o-rings that I got from an o-ring kit bought from Harbor Freight. Ive been rolling for about a month and I havent had the p0108 code pop up. Oh yea I did purchase the HKS FCD but it did not work on my car. BIG up's to everyone and GOD Bless.:rocks:

Coil fix the other issues?

No, I think it may be caused by boost leak. I'm going to see about it this week when I'm off. I did a boost leak test today, and found the leak. Hopefully this will solve the problem.

Whats up every one? The misfire codes have finally been solved. They were caused by boost leak . Thanks for all the help.:thumb:
